How to use Google Assistant, plus all the ‘OK, Google’ commands you need to know

Voice assistants can be very useful for scheduling tasks, setting alarms, activating reminders. But we also find many Google commands that allow us to have a good time or learn from everything we can think of, from math to which are the best restaurants in the city. It will be enough to say “Ok Google” and ask what you can think of. But if you don’t know where to start, these are some of the most useful and essential.

If you have a Google Home speaker at home and you have already configured it and linked with your mobile phone, you can start saying Ok Google the times you need to formulate the different Google commands and ask for something or ask any questions you have but also read the news, listen to songs on Spotify, etc. If not, you can try them on your mobile phone to reveal all the answers.

Set up Google

Before trying all the Google commands, you must have configured the speaker with your mobile phone. Also, keep in mind that there are some options that you will not be able to do if you do not have linked devices such as the TV, for example, or the robot vacuum cleaner. In the same way, you will not be able to ask him to put music on Spotify if you have not previously created an account on Spotify and linked it.

Also note that not all the commands that we leave you below are designed to be used from the speaker. In addition, you can not only access the Google assistant if you pay for a brand speaker but you can do it from your Android phone by pressing the start button. You will see a microphone and you can try most of the Google commands that we leave you in this list.
